The photo exhibition Fabric of the City is the result of a documentary photography lab led by Yulia Nevskaya in Alexandrov. It presents the works of local photographers with varying levels of experience who, over the course of a week, explored the city through photo stories about people and places.
Each series offers a personal view of the city, where houses, streets, and courtyards are not just a backdrop but a living space filled with human emotions, destinies, and stories.
I took part in the project as a photo editor. My task was to create a cohesive exhibition based on the curator’s broad selection of photographs. I worked with the chosen series, arranging them into a coherent and expressive visual narrative.
An interactive area complemented the main exhibition space. It featured a wide selection of 10×15 cm printed photographs, allowing visitors to compose their own visual stories using these images.
